This is Wayne's favourite of all the songs he's recorded. It was written by Jackie Edwards, then on Island Records. Jackie went on to become a multi-millionaire and Wayne is skint. Wayne wants to become a writer.

What showgoers are saying about   Wayne

If my head wasn't big before, it is now
Saw him in the Solid Silver 60's show at Aberdeen 15/05/09. Still has a fantastic voice - but his humour just made our night. I haven't laughed so much in ages. (He could so easily have been a stand up comic!!!!)Thanks for the great night you gave us both musically and for adding that extra dimension to the concert

Wayne is a real showman and knows how to work an audience, chiefly through his self deprecating humour...wayne doesn't take himself too seriously..but he likes to have a dig at the establishment! He's put on some weight since his twenties and his hais has gone...apart from long wavy locks that curve away from his wide brimmed hat.

Wayne maybe getting on, but he has the voice of a young man.  He still reach that long high note at the end of my favourite Wayne Fontana song, 'Pamela, Pamela'.  He sings all his hits and more. A great night's entertainment from a genuine 60's legend.

Wayne Fontana still has THAT voice, he is a supreme storyteller and he shouldn't be missed. More than just someone who laid down some of the great British pop from its greatest era, he remains one of the top entertainers of rock n roll Pamela Pamela is still in his reportoire, I'm delighted to report. The big, stomping vocals of "Game of Love" are always delightful to hear. Mr Fontana mightn't send so many hearts affllutter as he did when he had the looks of a runway model who just happened to have a voice that shimmered with soul; still he delivers a musical gift with consummate ease and humour in a way that makes most contemporary exponents look wan, white bread and plastic.

Wayne has a great voice and an engaging sense of humour. Can still belt out his hits including Pamela Pamela and the Game of Love. Was happy to chat and pose for photos in the interval.

A great evening's entertainment from all the acts. John Walker, the Merseybeats and the Searchers were all fabulous. If you're a fan of 60s music, you'll have a great time.

I agree with other comments that Wayne is, along with all other acts on Solid Sixties show, worth going to see. He always has a good story to tell and now he lives abroad I bet he will have even more tales to tell. His DVD is very good and his interview at the end is quite sad. We must keep 60's music alive.

My husband and I went to the Solid Silver 60's Show in Blackpool last night and by far the best enertainer on the night was Wayne Fontana.  He had a wonderful singing voice, he had excellent patter and all in all he was the best entertainer on the night :)  We'll enjoy watching his DVD... unfortunately I didn't get the one with the 2007 calendar which would have allowed me a pleasurable end to the evening (anyone that goes to one of his shows will understand this line lol) I definitely enjoyed being in Wayne's World last night :)

Saw  Wayne at the Solid Silver 60's show. Fantastic night - had us in stitches - and his wonderful voice still reaching those high notes apparently effortlessly. What a great night! Thanks to the Dakotas, Merseybeats and Searchers too. Loved it!!! xxx

Loved every minute of the Solid Silver 60's show. Wayne's voice still superb and his humour almost brought the house down! What a fantastic night music AND laughter - brilliant!

Well I love Wayne Fontana because he was my idol when I was just seventeen - you know what I mean....
I saw him at the War Memorial in Syracuse New York when he was 19 and I was 17.  I screamed my lungs out.  Had I known he was up for marrying ( he was TAKEN very soon after) I would have stormed his dressing room!   I have not attended a Silver Sixties concert, but I plan to this June.  I have seen the YouTubes and I agree with his co-performers that he may be one of the funniest men alive.
